Final

Passport Cover
  • I created a shape and selected it, then I had to create a circular image using hexagons.
  • I had to press 'R' as it selects the image and it allows me to place a centre point for the original image to be copy and pasted around the selected point.
  • Then I found a PNG image on google and I copy and pasted it into my passport cover and managed to fit it inside my circular shape I made with multiple hexagons.
My thought when making my passport cover at the start seemed quite challenging, but I asked my teacher to help me with few bits I didn't understood and I was given a help sheet, which did help me despite me not being familiar with the program I used in today's lesson.

Too sum up all the steps I did to get my circular image using hexagons I:
  • Create a shape, then select it,
  • after i pressed 'R', then released
  • I then held down 'ALT'
  • and click at a point outside my shape for the centre of my shapes rotation
  • I then released 'ALT' and in the windows tab, and inserted a number between 10-20
  • then i chose the 'COPY' option and then pressed 'CTRL' and 'D' to paste the shape as many times as necessary to complete my image.
For the passport cover, I found it harder than my other projects because it was on Photoshop and at the start of the project I wasn't familiar with Photoshop so I needed a bit of assistance from my teacher, but I was given a help sheet which explained to me what had to be done step by step and that allowed me to complete my work in time within the lesson.

Premiere Pro - Holidays
 - In this edit I used my skills I developed from my media teacher and self-taut. I used non-copyrighted clips from YouTube to create a dream holiday video. I used certain audio and video affects to blend in few clips and for to make the audio seem in sync with the clips. I am happy with my trailer because I enjoyed working on it and i could include my dream holiday places.  https://youtu.be/v4aVn8k79x4 - In this edit for my final project I enjoyed making this because I am familiar with this programme and had an advantage compared to the other students because I am experienced with the programme.

Making P2 With The Bearer Of The Passport - In this I used Adobe In Design and on the left page I made the pattern with Adobe Illustrator and added a text from a help sheet that was provided to the class. On the right page I added a picture of myself as the passport photo and added some details to make it look believable such as; D.O.B, Name and Surname, Place of Birth and my passport number to make it look legit. - I found this project a bit challenging but was easy once I understood what had to be done. I enjoyed it because it allowed me to develop new skills in Adobe In Design

Fantasy Landscape With Photo From Trip - In this fantasy image I used an illuminating image of the night view of the Flame Towers in Baku, Azerbaijan. I photo shopped the sky lights from the Norwegian sky lights and added them to my image using the crop tool to select a part from the sky light and then copy and pasting the cut image onto this image. I then had to add an image from our trip to the National History Museum and I used an image of an monkey and I managed to fade few areas of the image to make it seem like the monkey is in the background between the buildings. I also added a sculpture from the museum and then decreased the size of it and added the face of a monkey onto it.
- I enjoyed making this edit because it was fun to do and allowed me to use new skills that I had developed within our project and also enjoyed going to the national history museum to take pictures for our project.

Magazine Spread Final
 - For this project I used Adobe InDesign and we had to make a magazine spread about travel. I first made two pages, to which I could then edit them using the 'A Master', after I added the two pages I began to add margins and columns which I could customise to my preferable size. I used Minion Pro as my typeface as I think it looks most presentable and professional, I also used 12pt as my font size as it was large enough to read but not to big and not small so it wouldn't be readable. I added my fantasy image to the magazine spread and also gave my magazine spread a heading 'Night Setting Travels' I then added text and some quotes, then added underneath each image what they are what their positioning on the magazine spread. I think that this project went well as I did like the outcome and looks professional if it was a real magazine spread. I could of added some sub heads but apart from that I wouldn't change anything on this spread - I found this project confusing at the start but once I got help by another student I found it relatively easy as it was straight forward and not much work had to be done.
